Ann-Marie Alcántara
Journalist | Storyteller | Content Writer
Hey there! I'm Ann-Marie, a freelance reporter and content writer. I've worked on op-eds, brand reports and newsletter for various agencies.
I covered internet culture in my most recent role at The Wall Street Journal. Previously, I covered marketing and advertising at WSJ's CMO Today and before that, I wrote about UI, UX and the customer experience for the now defunct The Experience Report section at WSJ.
In a past life, I was a retail reporter at Adweek, covering retail, focusing on direct-to-consumer brands and e-commerce. Before that, I used to cover consumer tech and internet culture at POPSUGAR. Many moons ago, I worked at The Bold Italic, BuzzFeed, and Mashable.
I graduated from Vassar College, with a degree in Environmental and Urban Studies.
When I'm not writing, you can find me increasing my screen time, reading or at barre.
